I don't think this is currently possible, but I'm pretty sure there's been a lot of support behind it. Maybe this feature will roll out in the future. Until then, I don't think it's possible to share based on tags or smart lists... unfortunately.

Yes, please, can we have the ability to share Smart Lists - we can then share specific types of tasks with specific groups eg everyone in our film group can see the relevant tasks for that group and everyone on the soccer team can see those specific team tasks rather than everyone in both groups seeing all tasks
