Due date is not when sending tasks via email

Hi,
Below what appears in "Notes" section on task which is sent via email. I assumed if I put Due: then it can not possibly end up in Notes since shall be parsed by RTM engine but yet it does not work.
Due: September 2nd, 8:20 a.m.

There are more details on the format to use here.
Notes can be included at the bottom of the email, but need to be separated with '---' (three hyphens).
