Google Calendar trouble

I set up RTM in Google Calendar, following the instructions on this website, but have been having problems.
The timezone for my RTM calendar in Google Calendar is wrong, showing Pacific time instead of Central time, but it is set for Central on my RTM account and my other calendars. I don't know how to fix it. Also, the Description and Location fields are blank with no way to change them.
My other problem is that I've been receiving phantom invites and cancellations as well as a Daily Agenda when I don't even have an agenda (nothing on the calendar) for that day.
