emailing forwarding messages

more than half of my "tasks" come to me via email. I've used Sandy to forward messages to sandy saying simply
"Remind me tuesday at 3:00p:
And presto it works
HOWEVER with RTM forward an email and I tack on a
DUE: Tuesday at 3:00 pm
And the task/email arrives in my inbox with no due date?
I've tried both the "email" address and "import" email address with no satisfaction.
Is there a way to forward full email to RTM and have it at the very least pull a due date?

emily (Remember The Milk) says:
If you'd like the forwarded email treated as a note, you'd need to add the notes separator after specifying the due date.
You can separate with:
---
(three hyphens)
More details on emailing in are available here.
One other thing that may be worth checking is whether your email has a signature or a disclaimer at the end -- if so, after the tasks details you'll need to include '-end-' on a line by itself, and everything after this line will be ignored (otherwise there may be some problems processing the task details).
Hope this helps!
