Google Gears in FF3 RC2

Since upgrading to Firefox 3, Release Candidate 2 I've not been able to go 'offline'.

Clicking the 'Offline' menu item pops up an installation window for Google Gears. I followed the instructions, installed and restarted my browser. But clicking on the 'Offline' menu item just brings up the Gears installation window again...

Anyone else got Gears running in FF3 RC2 for RTM?
