email to RTM with tags that include a "."

When I email a task to my inbox, RTM is unable to recognize this tag or other tags with special characters.

It seems to recognize tags without a "."

Is there solution other than not using a "." ?

The "." is important to me because I use the RememberthemilkEnhanced greasemonkey script.

Bit lost here, just loosing time - have 350 tasks in some 20 Categ's, but on RTM they are all in the Inbox. Not useful.

I need my Categ's and Lists on RTM to match :(
