Cannot Turn Off Confirmation Text Alerts from Twitter

Help! I cannot seem to turn off the sms confirmation alerts from twitter when a new task is added. I have turned off the alerts in RTM and in Twitter, but I still receive a confirmation from 'rtm' whenever a task is added via Twitter. Any suggestions?
