When I am creating tasks I nearly always have a time that goes with the date "tue 9" or "thu 14". Generally this works great except for the rare occasion that I have an event that is due sometime over the noon-hour. When I enter "tue 12:45" for instance the task due time becomes "Mon 12 Dec 05 at 12:45AM". Personally I would expect to enter "tue 0:45" if I were to be insane enough to have an item due at that hour.
