Importing existing Google Calendar entries into RTM?

Hi there, brand new user here, but I didn't see any clear answers anywhere, so I thought I'd ask:
Is there a way to import all (or upcoming week/month/whatever) entries into RTM from Google Calendar? I LOVE that RTM can display my tasks on my gmail screen, but I have a lot of things like birthdays and long-term events I'd rather not copy and paste into RTM if there's an automatic way of seeing (or importing) them.
Thoughts?

I was hoping someone would offer you an elegant suggestion, but they haven't, so here's a kludge...
Export your Gcal items via an iCal feed. Save the resulting data as a text file. Open that file up in some sort of text editor and chop it up to event titles one per line.
Email that file to the list import email address in RTM and add a _lot_ of meta data back to it manually. [http://www.rememberthemilk.com/help/answers/sending/importemail.rtm]
Not very useful, but maybe you can streamline the idea?
