Gmail extension works for wife not for me- same box/browser

rryan, would it be possible to double check that you have the new version of Gmail showing for your Gmail account? (You have the new version if you see an "Older version" link at the top right in Gmail.)
Another thing that might be worth checking is that the tasks pane is not collapsed for your account. You can expand it by clicking on the small arrow on the right of the page in Gmail.

Checked and we are both on the 'new' gmail. Also, used FF 2.0.11 as well as 3.0.2b.

I was going crazy wondering why I couldn't see my tasks, only to find that they were just hidden behind the pane. :)
