RTM + Rainlendar

I love rainlendar, and I love having it on my desktop. I love the global hotkeys. I love that I can easily synch it with Gcal and view/edit my events from any browser, anywhere.
I also now love RTM, and thought that integrating it into Rainlendar would be as easy as importing the ICS link.
For some reason, RTM will not accept any changes, including new or completed tasks, from my Rainlendar client.
I've tried both the ICS Events link, and the normal one for all lists.
RTM just doesn't seem to want to listen to Rainlendar, or maybe Rainlendar isn't talking right.
Any suggestions?

The iCalendar subscription provides read-only access to your tasks -- we don't provide synchronization with Rainlendar, sorry.

is iCal synchronization in the works?
i am very new to RTM, and am simply in awe of all of the features, services, and general design of the application.
however, i can't bring myself to actually use the software b/c i really like interacting with my todo list through my desktop client.
i would love this feature!
