Turn off twitter confirmations

This would be great, because I like to get my Twitter direct messages by e-mail/SMS, but don't really want to get RTM confirmations from those. And while I'm new to RTM, I think I'd like to be able to get reminders by Twitter, just not all the confirmations that Twitter/RTM did what I asked.
Any news on this front?
