"Add Note" box won't enable the "Save" button when pasting from clipboard

I have to press another key (arrow key for instance) before being able to click the button. Safari 2.0.2 on OS X 10.4.3

I've found that if you paste something without an ending new-line, Save is not enabled. But if you just add a new-line (i.e hit return), then it is.

Thanks for the report.
The way that this works is that the Save button is enabled when it detects changes in the note. The way that it detects changes is that a key is pressed on the keyboard -- but there's no way for it to detect when something is pasted from the clipboard without a key being pressed. We're trying to find a workaround for this.

emily,
this will also happen when I press Command+V to insert. It works in Firefox on OS X. As far as I know, Keypress handling is a bit different in Safari, that might be the reason.
