Thunderbird/Lightning Task List

tribaldragon73 says:
I use Thunderbird with the Lightning add-on at both my work and at home. While at home, using the icalendar events feed, my RTM displays perfectly - the tasks appear on the calendar only on the due dates, and all the tasks show up in Lightning's task list.
When I try to duplicate this at my work, still subscribing to the icalendar events feed, the view on the calendar is correct, but none of the tasks show up in Lightning's task list.
If I subscribe to the ical regular feed, I can get the tasks to show up in the list, but they appear on the calendar view beginning on the date I created the event.
Does anybody have any idea what I am missing?
Thanks in advance!

Has anyone been experiencing a similar problem? Any suggestions?

tribaldragon73, not sure what could be happening here -- are they identical versions of Thunderbird/Lightning as well? Just wondering if something could have changed in Lightning in different releases.

My problem currently is the first time I add the webcal into my thunderbird/lightning install, everything looks fine. But when I restart thunderbird, my task lists are not showing up! What could be the problem?

Sorry I'm not familiar enough with Lightning to know what might be causing these problems -- it would probably be best to ask on the Mozilla forums, as you might find an answer there. The RTM iCalendar subscription is a standard iCalendar file, so unfortunately this isn't something we can control on our end. Sorry I can't be of more help!

I have the same issue as tribaldragon73 mentions... when I subscribe to the ical feed through lightning, my tasks appear on the calendar every day from the day created until the due date. However, if I subscribe to the RTM ical feed through Gcal, and then to the Gcal feed with lightning, this does not happen (however Gcal only updates the feed maybe once a day, so this is not a great solution). Does the fact that adding Gcal eliminates the tasks appearing on multiple days offer any insights into where the problem is? I'd really like to subscribe directly to the regular RTM ical feed from lightning because it updates more regularly and the tasks will show up in the task list.... Any ideas?

Just realized the feed I'm using through Gcal is the events feed, not the regular feed. So the problem still exists between the two ical feeds. The regular feed shows the tasks in the task list within lightning, but the events are displayed on the calendar across multiple days (from day created to due date), the ical events feed shows the tasks on the due date only, but does not show the tasks in lightning's task list. Neither is ideal, any further ideas on this feed issue would be great.

Any possible leads on resolving this issue? I've used another standard ical feed from an online todo list and it works fine, both showing up in the calendar and in the task list within lightning- seems there may be an issue with the RTM feed...?

I'm seeing a completely different behavior. If I subscribe to the iCal Events Service, the items show up only in the calendar at the time they are due. Nothing shows up in the Events list.

If I subscribe to the iCal Service, the tasks don't show up on the calendar, but they do show up in the task list.

Of course, every time I try to add a task from Lightning, nothing happens (on the events or all).

I'm running Thunderbird 2.0.0.9 with Lightning 0.7 on a Mac 10.5.1

Interesting, definitely seems to be something with the feeds. The events feed seems to show in the calendar correctly but not in the task list. The regular feed seems to be all over the place... I still get tasks in the task list, but on the lightning calendar they span the days from when created until the due date. I hope this can get worked out as the integration of TB and RTM would be excellent.

Any RTM folks have input?
