My Blackberry doesn’t send mails with "+" in email address

I am not able to create tasks through my Blackberry. As soon as I send a message to my RTM account, a service book gets downloaded on my BlackBerry and the message never gets delivered.

Is there an alternate RTM email address to which which I can send mails for adding notes ?

BTW, I am using BlackBerry service in India provided by Airtel. I have contacted Airtel and they said that their services does not support "+" in email address.

The address does require the "+", but you may be able to set up a new email address with a service such as Gmail, and then configure that address to automatically forward all email sent to it to your RTM Inbox address. Then, you can just send to the Gmail address from your BlackBerry. Hope this helps!
