is there a way to create a Task in two Lists at thee same time?

I often create Tasks that logically belong to two Lists. Can I select more than one List and have it show up in both? Anybody else care?

I use the web and android systems, primarily windows on the web.

I believe you can only have a task in 1 list at a time, however, you can have it in as many Smart Lists as it applies using lists, tags, locations, or other properties.

Hi baysailor,
As geojono said, tasks can only be in one list, but other properties can be added—and tags can be added in multiple.
I think an example may help you and my first thought is this post on GTD, where tags are used for contexts and you can add multiple tags to "assign" a task to multiple contexts.
However, I'm not sure if that's too specific and tangential for you. 😅 If it's easier feel free to share an example of a task that belongs in multiple lists and I can share some ideas about how you can accomplish that! 💙
