Workaround for showing subtasks?

Multiple subtasks that are due in the same week as the parent task don't show up individually in This Week view, which could be a dealbreaker on using RTM for me.
Does anyone have a workaround so that I could see those subtasks individually on my This Week list (or an equivalent SmartList)?
Would omitting a due date for the task, and creating a subtask called "Complete full task" with the task due date work? Or is there another route that I'm missing?

Hi b.lewer,
Thanks for your feedback. I've passed that around the rest of the team.
Omitting a due date in the parent task would work, or (at least specific to This Week) leaving the due date more than a week from now too.
Hope this helps a bit!
