"Which Looks Right" (for the date selection format) should be auto-updated each year with the correct year -- or maybe even to the current Month/Day/Year -or- Day/Month/Year.
It's now a couple of years old and is probably more confusing than anything else. Again, per the topic subject, it's a small nit...but something to consider auto-updating in the code behind the scenes.
