Add to date

I was just seeing if RTM could perform date additions. I have a series of dependant tasks so I was seeing if I could timeshift them all by selecting them and in the date field performing an addition like "+1 week". The expected response, if it was to work at all, would be all dates for the selected to shift by 1 week forward.
However that is not the case. Take this example. Create 3 tasks. Set them one week apart each, so they are the 6th, 13th, and 20th Aug.
Select them all (check the check boxes). Now in the date box type "+1 week". The times are shifted, but are displayed as 06th, 06th and 13th. However if you mouseover the events the displayed date is the same as they were.
Lets expand it to 5 items. Label these 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Now space them 1 week apart each (6, 13, 20, etc). Now "+1 week".
What occurs is that the dates are 6, 6, 13, 20, 27. So they are a week apart (sort of), but the order they are listed no longer correct. They are listed as 1, 5, 3, 2, 4.
I guess this needs a bit more work:-)

Graham, we'll check this out -- unfortunately RTM doesn't currently support timeshifting like this (as you discovered!) but it's a pretty interesting idea. You can use multi-edit mode to set selected tasks to have the same due date, but it can't individually shift the dates.
