Sub tasks

How to turn a task into a sub-task? Reason: I have several tasks that should be sub tasks of another task and I want to move them there as sub tasks. I can't use "move to" or copy and paste. What am I missing?

Create a view where you can see both the main and desired sub tasks, then drag and drop the desired sub tasks onto the main task.
