Show Task Icon Only For The Days I Have Tasks

There was a topic on this in 2006, but has since been closed. I was wondering what the status of this issue is, because as it stands it isn't very useful (makes the layout very cluttered).
Emily said it was due to current technical limitations. However the weather report has been added since then, and that only shows an icon for the 4 days (today and three more).
I was wondering if implementing that required a change in the API and now can allow the task icon to appear only when there are tasks outstanding.
I've only started using RTM but what I would like to see is...
- The icon appearing only on days which I have tasks (an exclamation mark perhaps, the tick makes it look like the tasks are complete).
- The icon changes colour depending on what tasks I have outstanding using the color of the priority, priority taking precedence.
- Overdue items show as a task icon but with an additional small clock icon showing that it is overdue.
- Hovering on the icon either gives number of tasks ("1 priority, 3 low), etc. or gives a colourised output of the tasks.
I don't know how feasible any of these are but it would help a lot.

Graham, thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately it's still not possible for us to do this -- we've followed this up with the Google Calendar team, and this issue hasn't been resolved just yet. Hopefully it will be possible in the future, as we'd love to do this :)
