peterslau, do you have any other reminder methods set up (e.g. email)? Would it be possible to check if you receive email reminders at the correct time -- this would help us to determine if it's a problem with Fido specifically. It may be getting delayed on the Fido network (although it shouldn't take 3 hours! :)
