I made a few comments a week ago and now went looking for follow-up comments. There's no easy way to do this so I searched for my username, no results. boo hoo!

The search box works from the main forums page, just not individual forums. It's on our list of things to fix :)

Just saw the "topics you've posted in" link - nice! If it was there before i must've had blinkers on and offer a complete and utter retraction of my boo hoo behaviour :-)

We should probably add a link from each forum as well, as it would be easy to miss if you didn't visit the main forums page.

A moment ago I was trying to reply to one question with a link to an old thread, and I found that searching the forums for the word (in this case Linkify) returned no results.

A quick google turned it right up.

Am I right in guessing that the forum search only tracks the titles of each thread, and not the thread contents? Perhaps a full text search might be an easy way for the users to find previous discussions of various topics, which would save you some time and help keep thread duplication down?

Juat an idea.

Ran -- yes, it currently only searches topics. We'll have to see if we can make an option to search post contents too. Thanks for the feedback!
