Adding notes on iphone App

I can see the "note" section, but can't figure out how to add a note to a new task or to an existing one.

You can add a note by tapping the red '+' button at the bottom right; the options change depending on where you are.

Ok, but how do I add a note to a task as I am creating it? In the iPhone app there does not seem to be any way to do that. I have to add the task, then find it in my list, open it and then add the note.

You can add a note via Smart Add as well.

Enter // followed by your note.
