Is it possible to send SMS from your phone? round two

edrock says:
Im able to send a sms to my inbox, the issue is that i cannot get any of the actual text data that i sent to go anywhere but in the note section.

Ive been reading up, and i know i should be sending it with a
T:[space]Whateverthetasktitleis
D:[space]Whateverthedateshouldbe

the issue is, that once sent, even if i put the T: / D: on separate lines, they seem to show up in my notes section as 1 line of text.

I have a motorola slvr(cingular), is there some sort of symbol or slash or something that well help me format my SMS so that the info they contain is place in its appropriate fields on the RTM site.

I've recently tried to SMS tasks and it worked well (TMobile on Treo 600). The one thing that truly made a difference is that the Labels MUST be capitalized (T:[space]Whateverthetasktitleis).

Otherwise it shows up as a blank task with all the info in the notes section.

See if it helps!

edrock, if you can email an example message from your phone to [old address removed] then we'd be happy to check this out and see what's happening with the message.

jjeudymd, it should work without capitalisation too -- if you'd like to send us an example message that doesn't work correctly, we can take a look at this. Thanks!

emily, i sent you a example email. The email should say:

T: Test title

jjeudymd, i tried it both ways, and my content still shows up in the notes and nowhere else(nor the proper fields).

edrock, thanks for sending this. It looks like there's a signature being added to your text ("This mobile text message is brought to you by AT&T") -- we've now updated our system to handle this, so it should work correctly now. If you continue to experience problems, please let us know. Thanks!
