SMS to Germany...Vodafone

I have some problems getting reminders via SMS.
My service provider is Vodafone in germany and im sure that I inserted the correct number in the field, but I won't get any SMS.
My guess would be that the problem is Vodafone here itself, but i wanted to make sure.

eversor, thanks for letting us know. For Vodafone Germany, we're sending reminders to yournumber@vodafone-sms.de -- would it be possible to try emailing this address directly and seeing if you receive the message on your phone? It's possible that they have made changes with their email-to-SMS service. Thanks!

Sorry for getting back to you so late.
I did mail myself an email to "ournumber@vodafone-sms.de" and got an mail from Vodafone that someone tried to mail me but the mail couldn't be reached as I didn't subsscribe to the service.
So i followed the instructions and sure enough the service kicked in a few hours (?) later and I got my first reminder SMS this morning.
Perhaps you should add a little more info to your faq:
First of all you have to register yourself an email account at vodafone. They don't automatically generate one for you!
Then you have send an SMS to 3400 saying "OPEN" (without the quotes). Sometime later you can use the service. I still have to figure out how much one SMS cost (it says in the mail: [...] slightly more than a normal SMS.
I know you aren't really responsible for keeping this information. I think its Vodafone's responsibilty to access that kind of information. But it was kinda hard to find.

eversor, thanks for letting us know. Unfortunately some providers keep this information pretty hidden -- it might be hard for us to keep up-to-date info for each provider, but we can definitely add a note to the help page to mention that some provider's have systems like this that require an initial setup. Thanks for your feedback!
