Desktop app not showing

In the last two days I've started having problems with the desktop app window not appearing. The app is running, when I hover over the icon in the task bar I can see a preview of the All Tasks window, but when I click the icon, or Alt-Tab over to the app nothing happens.
I've tried minimising all windows and then opening it, but no joy.
Running Windows 8.1 if that helps. In the meantime I'll use the web app, but its not my preferred approach

Sorry to hear about this! It may be helpful to try reinstalling the app to see if that makes a difference. If not, you may also want to clear the app's data, located in:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\rememberthemilk\
