Subtasks in seperate lists
welsh_dwarf says:
Hi RTM team.
I'm currently setting up a GTD style system, and was hoping to use tasks/subtasks as projects.
The idea would be to have parent tasks in a project list and sub tasks in Calendared, Next action, Waiting for etc lists depending on status.
Unfortunately, it seems that you can't have a subtask in a different list from it's parent.
Is this a planned feature, or do you have a nice work around I could use?
Thanks

Hi welsh_dwarf,
You're right that currently subtasks are in the same list as the main task.
What you may want to do is to organize your GTD contexts or other statuses based on tags, so you can use those more flexibly with your subtasks. (You could also add more than one to a given subtask or task, which may be helpful in some cases.)
Hope this helps!

Thanks,
This is what I'm doing, using a calendared and waiting tag, and replacing my lists with smart-lists.
eg Next Actions is defined as:
not due:never and not tag:waiting and not tag:calendard
Thanks for the reply
