Gears issue?
I wrote a long topic description and then I lost it when I accidently hit the back button.
I installed Gears right away, it seems really cool.
I disconnected from the internet, with out clicking the offline link first, but I got a popup saying RTM noticed I had gone offline and switched to offline mode.
I completed one task and then shut down my computer.
I reconnected to the internet and restarted my browser. RTM doesn't load right - I get the RTM logo in the left and initializing in the right.
Thinking it was a gears issue, I disable Gears on RTM and deleted all RTM cookies. No such luck.
I've logged out of all RTM sessions and restarted my browser, still to no luck.
The desktop gadget is acting funny, so it might not be a gears issue at all.
I'm running FF 2.0.0.4, with some greasemonkey plugins. Tab Mix plus (with session continue) might be causing a problem. I'm out of time to troubleshoot tonight, so I'm raising the flag on this issue.
it very well could be user error on my part.
Thanks for integrating gears into RTM. I am spending too much time on planes and this will help me track the things I come up with on the plane and mark complete the work I do on teh planes.

Using FF 2.0.0.4 as well, and encountered same problem although not sure if I had done the same thing as you before then. Fixed it by clearing cache and cookies and exiting FF. Uninstalled Gears, reinstalled Gears, restarted FF, and logged on to RTM. All good so far.
Still, this is really a cool thing.
Still, this is really a cool thing.
