notes style in Android app

I can't figure why this is - it's not because of the length of the note or any other difference I can see...

A note is expanded in the details pane if it is not too long, so you can read it there; if it's longer though it will be opened in a "popup" so you can read the whole thing.
If you're seeing anything unexpected though, particularly around the length, can you contact us with a screenshot showing the different examples?
