I've noticed that tasks which I add by sending an email are not showing up in my smart lists until after I load the full standard list to which the task has been assigned.

To clarify, a new task which has been added by email will not appear in the relevant smart list (e.g. due:Today) until I've loaded it at least once by opening the full list to which it belongs (e.g. Work).
