Google Calendar / RTM gadget not working?

I am trying to use the iCalendar subscription.
I made my list public, then I copied the URL from the iCalendar link. I went to google calendar, clicked on the add calendar button, went to add public calendar, and pasted the url in the form.
Google calendar returns "Could not fetch URL."

Also, some people have experienced temporary problems subscribing with Google Calendar -- sometimes it will work if you wait a few hours and then try to subscribe again. Hope this helps!
