recurring task confusion

Hi! I have two tasks which are set to recur daily. One is "Walk" and the other is "Take vitamins and medicine." They are both set up the same way, with repeat set to "every 1 day."
The "Walk" task shows up every day, regardless of whether I have completed previous ones or not. If I don't check it off for a few days, I will have several overdue "Walk" tasks. This is what I want, but this is not happening with my Vitamins task. That one doesn't generate a new task until I mark it complete. When I complete it, it tells me that the task has been completed and a new task generated. It is behaving as if it were set to recur "after 1 day" instead of "every 1 day," but it definitely has "every" in there. Any suggestions to help me make my Vitamins task act like my "Walk" task?

Never mind! I took out the misbehaving task and made a new one with "every 1 day" and this time it worked. Not sure what was wrong with the old one, but it's fine now!

Maybe it was a "every 1 day" vs. "after 1 day"? That would explain the behavior...
