Add tags rather than edit (multiple items)

stevhill says:
I'd like an option to add a tag to multiple items without affecting the other tags already there.

For example: I have two items, Item One and Item Two. Item One is tagged 'one' and Item Two is tagged 'two'. I want to add a tag 'both' to both of them.

I select both items, hit 'm' for multi-edit and 's' for tags, then type 'both'. Now both items are tagged 'both' but Item One has lost its 'one' tag and Item Two its 'two' tag.

I would like to be able to *append* a tag to multiple items, so that in this example, Item One would be tagged 'one, both' and Item Two would be tagged 'two, both'.

Currently, unless I'm missing something, the only way to achieve this is to manually add 'both' to both. Not a major chore, but would be so if there were many more items to append a tag to.

Thanks.

You should see them having the tag which you shouldn't edit. Just add "both" after .

[Edit: RTM didn't like the correct characters, you'll get it anyway]

You should see them having the tag [Multiple] which you shouldn't edit. Just add "both" after [Multiple].
