GCal task icon duplication

(closed account) says:
I use the Google Calendar add-on to see my tasks in GCal, and the functionality is great!

For the last few days, the little task icons have been duplicated. I have two checkboxes for each day, showing the same tasks when I click on them. They also show on my Google Desktop sidebar calendar as two separate Tasks-lists.

I've tried unsubscribing and re-subscribing to the feed, but they are still doubled. I also tried the manual, cut and paste method for searching public calendars.

This doesn't seem to affect the function of the task icons in any way, but is more a cosmetic irritation.

Any thoughts on what I could try to fix this? Thanks.

I'm seeing the same thing. I think it may be related to Google's new feature of allowing reminders for secondary calendars (RTM being a secondary calendar too).

In any case, I'll gladly take duped RTM icons if it means I can get multiple reminders for secondary calendar events!!

Thanks for reporting this.

Google Calendar has released a bunch of updates recently, and this seems to be causing problems with the icons (the display of icons is controlled on the Google Calendar side -- unfortunately there's nothing that we can do on our end).

If you're experiencing this problem, please report it to Google via their help group or contact form -- hopefully they'll have this fixed soon!

I also (of course !!) get this effect, it's VERY VERY annoying !!

I hope you find soon a solution !

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards, Jean-Claude.
