Multiple new shared lists but nothing is there

I have multiple (hundreds!) of new shared lists showing up on the "Overview" page but when I click them it takes me to the list screen where I see nothing. I'm trying to work with a large number of people (8) who will be sharing tasks and lists. Perhaps the sharing is not as robust as it needs to be for this kind of work?
