Hide archived lists in Android app

I archived some of my lists, since all the actions on it have been completed and no new actions will be added to it.
In RTM in my browser the archived lists are hidden from view. However, when I look into my lists in the Android app, the archived lists still show up. I have set up automatic syncing in the app.
Where do i go wrong? How do I hide archived lists in the Android app?
