How can I change the color of the RTM widget?

If I can be a snarky end user, please pass it along to your dev. team that a good app. isn't one that stands out, but one that blends in. I'd recommend taking a look at the amazingly customizable CalWidget. If RTM can implement something similar that would be great.
In the mean time, is there a place for me to download an older rev. of the RTM Android app. so that I can go back to the less prominent widget?
