Badge Widget for Today or This week's task

While we don't currently offer a widget to display the count of tasks due today, you could create one by using a Smart List. For example, try searching for:
due:today
After saving this as a Smart List, you could create a badge widget that displays the task count for this list.

I do that. I have "today", "tomorrow" and "week ahead (excluding today) lists and have badges for all of them on a home screen. This is more useful to me, as my smart list doesn't only show tasks marked at due today, but also any overdue ones.
