Can't get rid of someone else's inbox

In an effort to remove the extra inbox (which is locked so cannot be removed) he deleted his account, and signed up with a new one. So now I have the locked inbox of another account that no longer exists that I can't get rid of. Shared locked lists should be able to be deleted somehow.
