Is it true that you can only sync once per day with RTM Free Version?

cassbh says:
This would seem like a HUGE disadvantage of the free version!!! I went to sync on my Android and it told me that my next available sync is not for 23 hours! What?????

Also, does anyone know of any video tutorials of how to use RTM, from Basic to Advanced?

Thanks! I am new to RTM and would like to make it work but it seems a bit overwhelming right now. I am in search of the perfect GTD app for me, the enternal To Do List maker!

Hi Cass,
Welcome to Remember The Milk! Yes, the free editions of our mobile apps only offer one manual sync every 24 hours. Instant, auto-sync is one of the Pro features available.

Regarding video tutorials, we don't currently have anything general, just a few specific videos for various help topics. However, for the Android app, we do have a video highlighting a lot of the changes in 2.0, which sort of doubles as an overview; you can read that in our blog post announcing the update. We're working on more videos, so we'd be keen to know which you'd like to see!

Wow, that really stinks! Does this generally bother people enough to want to buy the Pro version? Does not seem like there are many other really strong reasons to spend the $25 each year, at least according to the Pro list benefits!

Really? You are complaining about $25/year? $2 a month for this app?

If that is really killing you to spend $25/year for this app. then perhaps you might want to really think about what you are getting. $25 year is pretty close to free. Look at all of the other software out there and what the price points are. This is just dirt cheap.

Hi alan.bergman,
We have a Getting Started Guide which helps get you going with the web app. Then, each of our services & apps has its own page, and we have an FAQ to answer any other general questions.

Of course, we're also available to answer any questions you have also! Hope that helps. :)
