Can't get home to load

r1ckster says:
Whenever I try to load the homepage, or even www.rememberthemilk.com, I get a "Initializing..." message and the window only shows my name, "Wlecome" and the "Show Search Options" field. The RTM logo is also visible on the left.

I can see and use RTM on my google homepage as normal - thank God! I can also get to the Forums/Services/COntact pages and they appear to show as normal. It is only my account stuff that does not show.

Help!!

r1ckster, thanks for reporting this. Can I ask which browser and operating system you're using?

Has anything changed with your computer and Internet connection recently? Various firewall, pop-up blocking and ad blocking software, and browser plug-ins can interfere with Remember The Milk.

A couple of things to try are:

1) Clearing your browser's cache (loading problems can occur if the cache is full).

2) Using the secure HTTPS URL to access the site, as this can help to work around connection issues:

Please let us know if you continue to experience problems. Thanks!

Yeah - I have problems with Google Maps too. I am wondering if that is why it wont load???

I went to the help directions under Google Maps and did all the suggest and stilll issues!! Yikes this is making me nuts and screwing up my productivity at the time I need it worst. I am sure it is something about my machine (xp), BUT CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT! I am now in my account from my home PC and it works great?!?!?

Not sure if it was something that the RTM staff did or what I tried this morning, but my account is now loading fine. I ran CCLeaner this morning to see if it would help. After that, RTM runs great! The software is called CrapCleaner and is a freeware from CCleaner.com. I hope things continue to work as I love RTM!

r1ckster, thanks for letting us know. I'm glad it's working for you now. It's possible that it was a caching issue (or similar) -- if you experience any problems in the future, please let us know.
