When do repeated tasks show up?

The second instance of a repeating 'every' task will be generated either:
a) When the first instance becomes due
or
b) When the first instance is completed
(whichever happens first). This ensures that there is always at least one incomplete task in the series, so that it's possible to edit it.
Using an example, if I have a task due on Friday and I set it to repeat every week, it will automatically generate next week's task at the start of Friday. (Unless, of course, I complete the task before Friday, in which case it would generate next week's task whenever I completed the initial one).
