adding a task to a list directly in Gmail extension

shekala says:
Is there a way to designate a task list when entering a task in the gmail extension?

Hi shekala,
When adding a task in the Gmail Browser Add-on, you can use Smart Add shortcuts to designate properties of the task. The # shortcut can be used to set a list or a tag. For example, entering the following will create a task called New Task in the Projects list:
New Task #Projects
You can find more information about the available Smart Add shortcuts here.
Hope that helps!

Thank you. It appears in the help you sent me to that the tags and lists should appear in a drop down as I enter the # symbol, but in practice, it doesn't seem to do so. Please explain the expected behavior. Thanks

shekala,
The Smart Add shortcuts don't autocomplete in the Gmail extension; sorry about that. They will still work though. Hope that helps!
