event reminders

No, reminders are set across your account; sorry for the inconvenience.
You can vote on that idea here in our forums.
Depending on how you have your tasks set, you may be able to set it so you only get reminders for those tasks in the daily reminder (i.e. not setting a due time for those tasks).
