Newbie to RTM

At the present time, it's not possible to share tasks or lists directly from within the iPad app. You must share your tasks from the web app. The Pro edition of the iPad app doesn't include any additional sharing options.
However, you are able to add tasks to a shared list in the iPad app. For example, if you create a contact and share your list in the web app, then add a task to this list in the iPad app, your contact will be able to see this new task as soon as you sync.
