Lots of scrolling in new Gmail layout

I use the RTM gadget for Gmail and the new Gmail layout has made things much less pleasant. I have dual scrollbars (one for the gadget itself, and one for the actual list of tasks).

I'm not sure if this is a Gmail problem or RTM, but it really makes navigating a pane (pardon the pun). Here's a photo of the issue:

Is this an RTM fix or Gmail?
