Due date as first of the month - how do I set this?

alex.elderfield says:
I need to send a report out on the 5th day of every month so I'd like to set a reoccurring task for the first day of every month. How do I set this?

To do this, create a task that's due on the 1st of the month and set the Repeat property to "every 1 month". As this task becomes overdue, or your complete it, the next occurrence in the series will be due on the 1st of the next month.
