Not including past dues in Today's list

The website does it that way and shows past dues separately, so I am hoping I am simply doing something wrong.

Hi David,
It's not currently possible to remove the overdue tasks from the "Today" view in the app. Sorry for any inconvenience.
However, you are able to make a custom Smart List that shows only tasks due today. Try searching for the following:
due:today
You can then save this as a Smart List for easy access.

I think it would be great (and more consistent with the web version) to have a user defined switch which would allow the choice to include past dues in the Today view on the Ipad/iphone apps.

The same situation exists on the iPhone version. Whichever way individual users prefer it to work, I'm glad it's consistent between the two platforms.
