It's not currently possible to have a separate list for tasks added via the Gmail Add-on. The tasks will automatically be added to your default list.
You can set which list is the default in the web app by clicking on Settings, then on the Lists tab. Select the list, then choose "Set as Default" from the More Actions dropdown box.
